About

In May 2024, I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in creative writing from Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Fredrick M. Supper Honors Program. Participating in PBA's Honors program provided me a liberal arts education through a four year study of the Western classics. In addition to university, I credit my childhood home education with my development of strong morals, time management, and unmistakable initiative.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I traded snow for sand and am now residing in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida. I currently have one poem published in Sigma Tau Delta’s Rectangle, nine pieces published in Living Waters Review, two poems published in The Sailfish Review, one poem in Saw Palm: Florida Literature & Art, one poem in Clackamas Literary Review, and four poems in Euphemism. I am inspired by my family, walks along the intracoastal, and mood lighting. Propelled by a love of words—and iced coffee—I spend my days reading and writing in between trips to the beach.

I love the power literature has to create empathy by connecting humans on a deeper level. C.S. Lewis said it best: “In reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself. Like the night sky in the Greek poem, I see with a myriad of eyes, but it is still I who see. Here, as in worship, in love, in moral action, and in knowing, I transcend myself; and am never more myself than when I do.”
